Bookings & Enquiries

Bookings are essential. To make a booking, please phone us on
(07) 3357 4299 between 8:00am and 4:00pm. We have a voicemail service outside of these hours. Please leave a message and contact phone number, and we will return your call as soon as possible the next working day.

Seating

We have three seating areas: our main room (air-conditioned), covered courtyard (fully shaded, with ceiling fans), and our private function room (air-conditioned).

Please advise our staff when booking if you have a seating preference, and we will do our best to accommodate your preference. We recommend you book early to ensure your preference is available.

Information to help make your visit more enjoyable

• We are BYO, with a corkage charge of $2.50 per person. Refreshing non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase.
• All prices are inclusive of GST.
• Ask our staff about our chocolate birthday plaques and cakes (all made to order by our pastry chefs) for that special birthday person.

We believe our commitment to providing high tea service beyond our patrons' expectations has earned high societea high regard in Brisbane and beyond. In order to maintain the high standards we set for ourselves, the following applies:

• A sitting fee of $20 applies to any guest not ordering a meal.
• All high teas are served and charged per person. We do not permit sharing.
• We provide one account per table only (sorry, no splitting). We have EFTPOS and credit card facilities, and we accept only Bankcard, MasterCard and Visa. Strictly one debit/credit card per account.

Deposits

For group bookings (10 or more guests), we require a deposit to secure the booking:

• $100 for groups of 10 or more,
• $200 for groups of 30 or more (with the balance of full payment required 48 hours prior to the event), or
• as otherwise specified in relation to our Bridal Shower, Baby Shower, and Birthday Tea Party packages.

If your booking is for a date in two weeks' time or earlier,

• payment must be received within 48 hours of making the booking, or

If your booking is for a date in over two weeks' time,

• payment must be received within 7 days of making the booking.
• You can pay your deposit over the phone by credit card (Bankcard, MasterCard, or Visa), or in person at the teahouse by cash/EFTPOS/credit card/cheque.
• Your deposit will be processed on the day of payment and deducted from the total of your bill on the day you visit. Deposits will be forfeited for non-attendance.
• For groups of 30 or more, we require the balance of full payment 48 hours prior to the event.

All group bookings remain tentative until we have received a deposit.
